Skill: Counter Attack
- Weight Transfer: Allow weight to flow into shot.
- Body Positioning: Prep is key-Good ready position watching for the attackable ball coming at you.
- Swing: Accelerate through the ball. Finish out in front ready for the next shot to come at you.
- Mental: Assume everything can be sped up and be pleasantly surprised if they keep it slow.
Drill: Volley Cooperative Acceleration

Players stand straight on at the NVZ Engage in a cooperative volley rally.Begin slow, find a good groove and then start to accelerate the rally still trying to maintain control.
Drill: Skinny Mini Singles
- Focus on attacking and counter attacking
- Make them uncomfortable and they cannot beat you up
- Do this straight on - games to 11 win by 2 possession scoring

Skill:Â Picking A Fight
- Rules for Speeding up a Ball Player MUST be balanced AND in position to pick a fight.
- Assume all balls will be counterattacked. Be ready for the fight.
